tenx9 is a free storytelling event where nine people have up to ten minutes each to tell a true story from their life, on a theme. In September, that theme is 'From a Distance'. Tell us your stories of far off dreams, Bette Midler concerts, long distance relationships, keeping something at arm's length... Basically, take the theme however you like - just keep the story true, narrative-driven (i.e. events, characters and real life things happening!) and make sure you've got a starring role! Nine storytellers of course need an enthusiastic audience, so if storytelling isn't your thing, come along and be a story listener!
